Dear Cat

We wanted to say a huge thank you to you, and the BBC The One Show team and production crew, for sharing the story of Major Momber's Mess Jacket.

Just one story from the thousands of lives involved in the First World War, but you brought it to life, and even more amazingly - brought the family and jacket together once more.

We were really impressed at how you kept us involved all the way through the journey and how you steered it through the BBC - both Radio and Television.

Thank you again, and we are so happy that the Jacket is now Home.

Wow Cat
I can't thank you enough for what you have achieved researching Jeans story, including finding living relatives 😊 I am still buzzing from the show, my dad is still very emotional but wanted to thank you also. I will be in touch for contacts and more details when I calm down I am just so pleased to have some form of closure for dad, myself and our family.

Sincere regards

Hi Cat
Just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know that I did eventually hear back from my Dad, he sent a card yesterday. He hasn't been living in his registered address and had only just returned last week to collect his mail. It was a nice note, he seems really pleased I've gotten in touch and wants to talk more, so gave me his new address and email...now the difficult part begins!

I just wanted to fill you in and thank you for helping me out.
All the best,
Lauren

Hi Cat

Don't know if you remember me but you looked into my grandmother’s father’s death and tried to find out whereabouts in Carno he was buried. You spoke to my mother on the BBC Radio Wales show that you were doing at the time.  Despite being not as lively as she once was (having celebrated her 100th birthday in June) she regularly mentions speaking to you and how grateful she was to find out the information that you was able to find out about her father’s death and burial. Once again thanks

Richard

Dear Cat

Many thanks for your help tracing Tony’s mother and her ancestors
I am very amateur using the computer so I really appreciate your time and effort helping us. What more can I say ? You have made one elderly gent and his wife really happy

Dear Cat

We listened to the programme on the 30th and thought it was excellent - such a good explanation of what PLR is and how it works. And the results have been amazing. Over 150 new authors have been in touch already to register for PLR just on the strength of the programme! It's provided great publicity for us.  Many thanks for involving us.

All best Jim

Dear Cat

Just to say how well we thought mum's story came over on the One Show last night. It was lovely to see it and quite moving although we already knew the outcome. The whole family would like to thank yourself and the whole team for making it all possible for mum. You treated mum with understanding and kindness which was very much appreciated.
Kind Regards
Jane
